SQUARE CIRCLE Founded in 2016 in Chongqing, China, SQUARE CIRCLE is a designer womenswear brand built around the modern Eastern woman’s wardrobe.
Our founding team works at the intersection of visual communication and fashion design. We noticed that many women in the East find themselves caught between tradition and trend—often struggling to find clothing that truly reflects who they are and how they live. That observation became our starting point.
The name SQUARE CIRCLE is a statement in itself—a search for harmony between opposing forces: the square and the circle, the structured and the fluid. We don't chase fleeting trends or create spectacle for its own sake. We believe good clothing should read like a restrained yet powerful poem—one that reveals its depth in the details.
Our design language draws from Eastern aesthetics—the negative space of ink paintings, the structural lines of traditional architecture, the quiet texture of natural materials—but reimagines them through a contemporary lens. In a cardigan, you might find the silhouette of a traditional wrap; in a dress, the color sensibility of Eastern art, paired with the ease of a modern cut.
